Ensure the safety of your workers and control HSE risks on your sites

Are you managing a construction project involving several independent players? Call on Apave's teams in Asia right from the design phase to ensure the safety of your workers through our CSPS missions, and control all HSE (Health, Hygiene, Environment) risks.

 Your challenges

Construction sites very often involve a multiplicity of independent players working together simultaneously, often under precarious conditions. This co-activity greatly increases the risk of accidents. Faced with such challenges, it is imperative to ensure excellent coordination and close collaboration between all stakeholders, throughout the entire construction process.

To achieve this, the involvement of an SPS (Safety and Health Protection) coordinator is essential.

Our Apave teams in Asia can provide you with SPS coordination services to ensure the ongoing safety of people and property on your sites, from design to delivery.

We can intervene on construction, demolition, renovation or development sites, whatever the future structure.

After carrying out individual inspections of each subcontractor present on site, the SPS Coordinator will draw up a detailed general coordination plan. As early as the pre-project phase, he will define the provisions, general principles and risk prevention measures required to ensure the safety of the various parties involved. In consultation with the project owner, he will also draw up general safety instructions for workers.

Depending on the specifics of the project and the site, we can deploy a range of complementary expertise to meet your needs:

  • Safety audit
  • Risk analysis
  • Fire safety
  • Electrical safety
  • Mechanical safety
  • ...

Our teams can also help you manage HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) risks. Each of our experts is fully conversant with local health, safety and environmental regulations. They can help you to ensure that your project complies with local standards in each of these areas.

Your questions

about our CSPS missions

  • What is a CSPS assignment?

A CSPS (Health and Safety Protection Coordinator) is an external professional responsible for identifying and anticipating all types of risk related to the co-activity of several independent players on the worksite. Indeed, it is not uncommon for different companies to work simultaneously on a construction, renovation, refurbishment or demolition project. To reduce the risk of accidents and protect workers, it is essential to ensure seamless coordination between all these stakeholders: this is the role of the Health & Safety Coordinator.
  • What does HSE stand for?

HSE stands for "Health, Safety and Environment". It's a methodology for controlling health, safety and environmental risks on a site, such as a construction site. To identify the HSE practices and policies to be implemented, there are a number of standards, laws and guidelines, which vary from country to country. On a construction site, HSE officers play a key role in preventing accidents and occupational illnesses, and in controlling the environmental impact of the construction operation.
  • What types of construction projects can you be involved in?

We can intervene on any type of construction site, coordinating the work of several independent companies. These can include construction sites, as well as renovation, demolition and rehabilitation projects. They can also involve future residential buildings, high-rise or very high-rise buildings, industrial sites, service residences, business premises, mosques, shops and all types of ERP (establishments receving the public), in almost all asian countries.
  •  When should I call on your CSPS services?

We strongly advise you to call on the expertise of an SPS (Safety and Health Protection) coordinator as early as possible, ideally as early as the pre-project phase. This service should be provided automatically as soon as the worksite requires the intervention of several independent players (either successively or simultaneously). This will ensure the health and safety of workers throughout the works, and reduce the risk of accidents during construction.
