In order to meet regulatory requirements and attest to the compliance of your Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to guarantee the safety of users, Apave has a laboratory in France that carries out tests on PPE to protect against falls from height, APR Respiratory Protection Devices, helmets, etc. From the EU/KCA type examination to the testing of manufactured PPE and the control of manufacturing control processes, our laboratory will be able to ensure that your personal protective equipment complies with European standards.

Our laboratories

If you wish to market Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the European Union and must obtain the CE marking, Apave supports you in characterizing and carrying out tests on your PPE in order to put safe and efficient equipment on the market. From its laboratory in France and Great Britain, you will be able to obtain CE and UKCA certifications in full compliance with the European regulatory framework. Apave and PARC (our subsidiary in United Kingdom), are working in partnership to support your CE & UKCA certification needs.

CE and UKCA Marking

In order to market a product in the European Economic Area (EEA), it must comply with market standards in order to be able to bear either the ‘CE’ mark or the ‘UKCA’ mark in the UK. Any product originating from a non-EU country must be checked for compliance with CE/UKCA requirements before being placed on the EEA market.

Manufacturers and exporters/importers must therefore guarantee that products meet safety, health and environmental protection requirements.

The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Codes are well known and used internationally for construction of Pressure Vessels and Boilers (BPV). We as an ASME Authorized Inspection Agency (AIA) accredited by ASME and National Board (NB) have been inspecting and certifying many BPV for more than 20 years.

 

As an AIA, we can assist your company obtain new or renew the ASME Certificate of Authorization. We can provide the complete process of services from application to ASME & NB to the final ASME Joint Review.  Provide Quality Control Manual review & work procedures for your contract requirements. Review drawings according to ASME Code, carry out Pre-Joint Review by Authorized Inspector (AI) & Authorized Inspector Supervisor (AIS) including attending the Joint Review as a Team Member.
